How to Order Custom Built Wheels
Custom built wheels provide flexibility in sizing and finish and are made-to-order based on your vehicle's specifications. This article explains the simple 4-step ordering process and answers some common questions about ordering custom wheels.
Step 1: Choose a Wheel Design & Finish
Before starting a custom wheel order, you should know which wheel design and finish you want.
Some wheels on our website can be customized, while others are only available in preset specifications. To identify the wheels that are customizable, look for anything other than "Cast Aluminum" listed under the design's model number or name.
If you're still unsure which designs are customizable, feel free to contact a wheel specialist at 800.260.2522.
Step 2: Measure Your Vehicle
The second step for ordering custom wheels is to measure the vehicle. Accurate measurements are required to ensure proper fitment.
Measurements for custom wheels become necessary when:
Vehicle modifications are made including suspension, brakes and wheel wells,
Wheel and tire sizing exceed OEM limitations
If no major modifications have been made and you're staying close to OE sizing, measurements may not be necessary. Feel free to skip to the next step if measurements are not required.
Please see the provided resources for guidance on measuring your vehicle.
A downloadable measurement form outlining all required measurements
A video walkthrough demonstrating how to properly measure your vehicle
Regardless of the method used to record your measurements, the specifications are required before placing your order.
Don't feel like measuring your ride? A local restoration or speed shop may be a good resource for getting the specs you need.
Step 3: Complete the Custom Shop Order Form
The third step is to complete the attached Custom Shop Order Form (see below). We'll need to get some details about your order to get your wheels built.
Use the link below to access the required form which must include details including:
Vehicle year, make, model, and trim
Wheel style
Front and rear wheel sizing (diameter & width)
Wheel offset and/or backspace (if you know)
Wheel finish
List any important modifications in the appropriate field under vehicle information (ex: aftermarket brake kit part numbers)
If you're unsure about sizing, our wheel specialists may be able to help. Again, a local restoration or speed shop can be a great source for answers.
Step 4: Submit the Required Form(s)
The fourth step involved with ordering custom wheels is to submit the required form(s):
Custom Shop Order Form with customer and product details
Wheel & Suspension Measuring Guide (if applicable) to provide critical vehicle measurements
Once the necessary forms are complete, please contact our team of wheel specialists at 800.260.2522 for review and further instructions.
